We’re honored to introduce a new collaboration with some of our favorite artists: wiklundwiklund and their piece "Gilded popcorn"— a series of seven Gilded popcorns in 3D printed ceramic filament with a gold leaf kernel.

"Gilded popcorn" is a part of the project “Förslag för andra dagar” (Suggestion(s) for other days). Each Gilded Popcorn is linked to a 1:1 digital proof of ownership NFT using an IYK.app NFC chip.

About wiklundwiklund "ww have collaborated as artists for twenty years. They have extensive experience in initiating, running and organizing projects of various scales and materials - from scenography to large public spaces. Katarina has a background as an artist and Susanna is an architect.

Besides the fact that they happen to have the same last name, ww also share a special interest in rooms. ww's interest and loyalty is always with the place and the people who move there. They spy, observe and listen - preferably over a long period of time. Details, backsides, associations and other things tumble through ww's thoughtful and ingenious work process. In their works they like to combine different expressions and eras. Play and seriousness, fantasy and reality may exist in parallel. "

About Suggestion(s) for other days "An art cabinet for The Psychiatry Building in Uppsala. In the universe created by the artist duo WiklundWiklund's art cabinet everyday objects are combined with the fantastic, a place for slippers and dizzying phenomena. And it is not easy or even meaningful to separate the disturbed from the functional.

It contains "suggestions for other days". It cannot be about "normal" days, or days of a waning existence. No, there are bigger days, days beyond "okay". Days with a good mood, calm days, days full of inner life. Someone has carefully electrified one of the lawn's thousands of dandelion balls into a small lamp that should be protected from the slightest breath. Small experiences of happiness and hints of contentment tell of yet other days; satisfied days or days at peace with life.

Completely mundane and at the same time extraordinary, natural items like popcorn that on closer inspection reveal a gilded inside. The suggestions that the cabinet holds are an incomplete collection, but it also never lacks anything, because the order is associative and accepting. [...] "
